Terms of Service

Welcome to Shaar ("Shaar", "we", "us"). By accessing or using our marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Shaar may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality and ownership of any item listed. Listings must include clear photos, an honest description, and a fair price. Misleading listings will be removed.

The following may not be listed: weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen items, hazardous materials, live animals (outside the regulated Pets category), human remains, and any item prohibited by EU or local law.

Buyer payments are held in escrow by Shaar's licensed payment provider until delivery is confirmed. Shaar charges a 3% transaction fee on completed orders. Refunds are processed to the original payment method.

If a buyer and seller cannot resolve a problem directly, either party may open a dispute within 14 days of delivery. Shaar will review evidence from both sides and issue a binding decision within one business day.

Your personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We comply with GDPR and never sell user data to third parties.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shaar is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the marketplace. Total liability is limited to the fees you paid Shaar in the prior 12 months.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
